THE CORNERSTONE OF DECISION MAKING

WHEN IT COMES TO LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION IS FACT.

In an era characterized by information overload, it can be difficult to separate fact from fiction. Global Animal Products believes that fact begins with sound science. It all begins with sound chemistry and ends with what you see: Be it in the pen, the pasture, the barn or tank. This is where research comes into play.

Unlike many other trace mineral products on the market today, zinc methionine is backed by decades of research. Ever-changing and complex challenges face producers and their nutritionists every day. Up-to-date and applicable data are necessary for intelligent choices. Our staff of dedicated animal nutritionists continually work with both private and university researchers to provide timely, accurate and applicable data across species.

CHEMISTRY

By incorporating chemists from many different disciplines, we have developed processes to “chelate” essential trace minerals with amino acids to produce a highly bioavailable supplement.

These processes prevent the mineral from forming insoluble salts and compounds in the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in the inability of the animal to utilize them: a possible fate of inorganic trace minerals.

We set ourselves ahead of our competition by assaying “complexation” of these trace-mineral chelates as a quality control measure, in addition to typical guaranteed analyses and heavy metals.

RESEARCH

A comprehensive database with tangible and real responses are crucial to determining a trace mineral product’s efficacy. In spite of the fact that research has been conducted on effects of zinc methionine supplementation in various species for more than 3 decades, we are committed to continual and meaningful research that can be practically applied to today’s production systems.
Livestock producers are the consummate innovators and production systems are in a constant flux. Thus the requirement to put the “re-“ in research. Our “search” for ways to help producers and their livestock grow more efficiently and healthier never ends.

BEGINS WITH SOUND CHEMISTRY AND ENDS WITH WHAT YOU SEE:
